The park covers some 400 acres and was once part of the Tilgate Estate, which covered much of the surrounding area. Tilgate Forest is now classified as a country park and conservation area, with golf being just one of the many activities on offer.

Famous for its tree-lined fairways, tight doglegs and well-guarded greens, the Par 72 course is both challenging and rewarding for all golfers. In addition to this the centre boasts a 9-hole Par 3 course, ideal for beginners or for a fun warm-up round. Tilgate Forest Golf Centre is one of the best Pay & Play courses in the South. The club is extremely popular with golfers in the local area and with golfing societies that return year after year.

The Clubhouse offers a bar and restaurant service, enabling you to relax and enjoy a thirst-quenching pint and a meal after your round. The Clubhouse is accessible from the 18th and offers amazing views from its outdoor seating areas. The Bar offers a large-screen TV showing all major sporting events.

The Pro Shop at Tilgate Park covers 2,300 square feet and offers a wide range of equipment. There are a number of excellent package deals for golfers of all levels as well as the most recent golfing technology. The shop provides a custom fit service to ensure you have a set of clubs that are tailor made to your needs and you also have the option of trying out any equipment before you buy.

Tilgate Forest Golf Centre is home to one of the best driving ranges in the area. The 35-bay floodlit range provides an excellent facility for all levels of golfers, with lots of targets to aim for and top quality balls.
