At just under 5,800 yards, visitors and regulars alike could be forgiven for underestimating Stoneyholme Golf Course. With tight tree lined fairways and water in play on no less than 10 of the 18 holes, this high quality course presents a real test for both beginners and experienced golfers alike. Voted one of the UK's best value municipal courses by the BBC Golf Magazine, Stoneyholme continues to provide a stern but fair test to the many golfers who play the course. It is an easy walking course, bounded by the River Eden. This par 69 course has something to challenge every level of ability.

The Pro Shop stocks a full range of golfing equipment including clubs, balls, gloves, golf bags and clothing. The newly refurbished Clubhouse is on hand to offer first class hospitality with an excellent range of tasty home cooked meal served daily. A good range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages are served including tea and coffee.
