Hennerton Golf Club

Crazies Hill Road, Wargrave, Berkshire, RG10 8LT
Description

Hennerton Golf Club is set in some of the most beautiful and tranquil countryside in Berks, overlooking spectacular views of the Thames Valley. Hennerton originally opened as a 9-hole course in 1992 and after four years of planning and construction opened as an 18-hole course on 3rd June 2006.

This pretty parkland course undulates over mature landscape on well-draining chalky soil. The club is a haven for those looking to play within a friendly environment. We have excellent practice facilities with a covered floodlit driving range and putting green. Two PGA-qualified professionals teach 7-days a week and operate a well-stocked pro-shop and club-repair service.

Our signature hole remains the 16th which is a Par 3, 182 yards long, crossing a sharp valley. The green provides spectacular views of the whole surrounding countryside. Overall, the course is challenging, as a high-degree of accuracy is needed to take you to the contoured greens on the new part of the course.

Hennerton is a family-run, private club known for having a friendly and sociable membership. Visitors and societies are welcome, although members always have priority on the course at weekends.

The clubhouse is open daily, with home-cooked food, and a bar and patio overlooking the beautiful views. We recommend our Sunday roasts - to reserve a table call the clubhouse tel: 0118 9401000.
