Goring & Streatley Golf Club
Established in 1895, Goring & Streatley is an 18 hole, 6.355 yard, par 71 golf course set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in West Berkshire, with panoramic views of the Ridgeway and the Thames Valley.
A golf course must have holes of character and well-groomed greens which are true, and Goring & Streatley certainly has them. The greens at Goring & Streatley have surfaces full of intricate subtleties, never easy to read, even to the most experienced eye.
The course is expertly maintained by the course staff, headed by Brian Valentine, Course Manager, who has been with the Club for 30 years.
The Clubhouse is situated close to the 1st tee and 18th green and offers both members & visitors a warm and friendly welcome. Excellent service & refreshments are provided in approximately 11,500 square feet of floor space. There are superb changing facilities for both Ladies & Gentlemen together with various bars & restaurant/dining rooms where house staff will be pleased to serve you.
The fully stocked Professional's Shop offers all the leading brands at competitive prices. A full club trial facility is available with free advice on the type of club to suit your game. An extensive clothing selection for both Ladies and Gents is held in stock.
Monday to Friday: £34.00
Please Note: Goring & Streatley is not an easy course to play, so visitors are expected to be reasonably proficient golfers with Club or Society handicaps of 28 or less (gentlemen) or 36 or less (ladies). You may be asked to produce a handicap certificate.
