Chiltern Forest Golf Club

Chiltern Forest Golf Club, nestled in the Chiltern Hills on the edge of Wendover Woods, is a challenging 18 hole golf course (par 70), measuring 5,760 yards off the White tees. The course is challenging for all golfers due to it's hilly nature. Try reaching the par 4 9th in two shots; your approach shot to the 16th green is all uphill, so you will need to carry it the whole way. Don't think that you can merely take a driver and a short iron to the greens of the par 4s; if you are off-line then the chances are you'll be playing your second shot sideways out of the trees! This is a true test of golf for players of all abilities, with stunning scenery to match. Chiltern Forest is a friendly club offering a range of facilities and visitors are assured of a warm welcome.

After your round, the excellent clubhouse is the perfect place to relax, with stunning views over Mentmore and the surrounding countryside as far as Dunstable. The Clubhouse bar and catering are run by Andy & Diana Shaw, who pride themselves on using the freshest ingredients, delivered daily from reputable suppliers. The bar provides a wide range of beverages with something to suit everyone's taste. Chiltern Forest's menu includes a huge choice of freshly-made sandwiches, baps & baguettes together with delicious main courses. The Bar is open from 11:00am every day whilst the kitchen is open from 11am weekdays and 10am at weekends.
