Bingley St. Ives Golf Club

Bingley St. Ives Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course, is unusual in that it is a single loop, taking the golfer from parkland to woodland to moorland and back again, with stunning views along the Aire Valley to Leeds, Bradford and beyond in the south and east; the magnificent Bronte moorlands to the west and the imposing Rombolds Moor to the north. The club prides itself on the welcome afforded to visitors, whether in organised groups or as individuals. The original course was designed by Dr. Alistair Mackenzie & Bobby Jones of Augusta National Fame. The club was formed in 1931. In the 1980's it was part of the PGA tour and hosted an annual event. The course was played by the likes of Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino & Brian Barnes. Past winners have included Nick Faldo & Sandy Lyle.

The genius of Mackenzie and the beauty of nature have combined to produce a golf course to rank with any in the region, but the perfect golfing day is about much more than fairways and greens, drives and putts, even woods and heather. Bingley St. Ives are extremely fortunate to have excellent catering facilities and staff who are dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your visit to the club. They offer a wide range of catering from the simple but tasty bar snack to a full formal dinner for up to 120 diners. The club has a well-deserved reputation for the quality and value for money of their Sunday Lunches. From the famous “Carvery” hot roast menu to the special dishes on offer each week, it represents great value for money.

The Pro Shop is run by the club professional, Nigel Barber. He has been a member of Foremost Golf group since 1997 and is able to offer an excellent selection of products at very competitive prices. Nigel and his assistant Paul Humpherson provide individual tuition to players of all ages and abilities. They can also provide a range of other services including Group Tuition, Company Day Clinics, Custom Club Fitting, Club Repairs, Soft Spike & Stud service and Trolley/Buggy hire.

Other facilities inlclude free car-parking in a secure car park, with security cameras and barrier. There is easy access from all parts of Yorkshire and Lancashire, which makes Bingley St. Ives the ideal venue for corporate days, club trips and visiting parties of all sizes.
